Vanessa Lynn Parker

Vanessa started her training as a metalsmith in 2000, and has since studied the techniques of Precious Metal Clay (PMC), Fused glass, Enameling, Wire Wrapping, Keum-boo, Stone Cutting, Chasing and Repousse, and most recently Riveting and Foldforming. Vanessa loves working with silver and her work usually focuses on mixed metals and natural gemstones.

Her latest collection features collaborative work with glass artist Jan Locander, as well as her Wearable Art line created to be versatile and fun. Vanessa enjoys escaping the hustle of everyday life by disappearing into her studio and allowing her creativity to flow. She loves making a connection with customers when they see something she has created they just cannot live without. “That’s what it’s all about: bringing joy to people through art.”

One of Vanessa’s favorite career highlights in was being a featured artist on Home and Garden Television’s network show “That’s Clever”.
