Artist Talk with Dongyi Wu

Come out and join us for an exciting artist talk by Dongyi Wu! Dongyi's work spans across contemporary jewelry, body jewelry, fashion art, sculpture, and conceptual installation, with contemporary jewelry as the primary medium for her artistic research. Dongyi Wu is a Chinese-born contemporary jewelry artist, who is currently working as a resident artist at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Dongyi has also participated in numerous residencies at other institutions, such as the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, AR, the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN, the Baltimore Jewelry Center in Baltimore, MD, and the Contemporary Craft in Pittsburg, PA. She received her Master's Degree in Metal and Jewelry Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States, and her Bachelor's Degree in Jewelry Art Design from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in China.
